To answer your question, yes, I clicked on the calendar icon, not just hovered my mouse over the icon. Also the menu option related to the calendar. So that was good. However, when I clicked on mail to show the mail inbox, then clicked on the calendar icon, I did not get the calendar view back. Just the same problem as screen capture 2 above.

I did notice, though, in my Folder View, that my calendar is located in the Deleted Items folder. I’m not sure how it got deleted.

In Outlook , email and calendar a column has recently appeared to the right of the reading pane that seems to be a list of common tasks. In email, it has icons for delete, respond, move, followup, etc. In calendar, it has items from the Home ribbon tab, including new event and the four items in “arrangement” group.

I went to view tab on the ribbon and tried various options, mainly with the calendar window. I think I looked at about every option there and tried most of them. I also tried a right click on the column to see if there was any likely option, but found none. Read this reply on Microsoft Community. Give Acelyn Alc some kudos! Then let the community know!
