I want to simply print plain Avery labels in Word When I click on Mailings and click on labels, I get nothing. Simply nothing. Per m research I should have Options pop up and I can choose a label type. I get nothing. I’ve clicked on everything not a thing happens.

Word on Windows 10 I find very confusing. I am not great at word but I have taken some Word courses. I don’t use it often so I am usually gimping my way through it. Printing labels used to be easy now I a completely stumped and frustrated.

Thank you for your help. Well nothing happens. But something really weird just happened. I was just hitting buttons again, got a phone call then came back to my computer and the labels dialog box that I am familar with was there on my screen.

So I was able to find my label type and begin typing. I don’t know if I can get that dialog box again so I am going to take advantage of it and print my needed labels. After I finish I will close Word and try it all again. It appears that you do not have an active document, which you must have before any of the facilities on the Mailings tab of the ribbon will be enabled.

If that was not it, iIf, in the future you have a problem, try starting Word in “safe mode. Safe mode is not a way to regularly use Word, but it is a valuable diagnostic step. If your problem goes away when you use Safe mode, we can walk you through other steps that may help eliminate the problem.
